Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at Rutgers

The Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering is a relatively young department , with its inception in 1962. Today, the department supports a faculty of sixteen, and serves a steadily growing number of highly motivated and talented graduate and undergraduate students. Since 1964, 1,624 B.S., 371 M.S., and 155 Ph.D. degrees have been awarded. There are a total of about 120 undergraduates (40 sophomores, 39 juniors and 41seniors) and 80 graduate students enrolled in the program.
